Biography

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest engineers and technicians in the southeastern region. My role involves delivering highly practical automation training that efficiently prepares technicians for the challenges ahead, while nurturing their potential for growth in mastering the operation and maintenance of automated process equipment.

In the realm of industrial automation, grounding oneself in the fundamentals is essential for building a successful career. This means establishing a robust understanding of electricity, electronics, computers, and networks, leveraging the foundational knowledge acquired in technical and engineering schools. Such a comprehensive approach not only enables learners to swiftly assimilate new concepts but also cultivates a resilient skill set that endures over time. In my classroom, success isn’t measured by mere memorization; instead, it’s about fostering a systematic approach to problem-solving. By adopting this holistic mindset, technicians are equipped to troubleshoot any machinery, irrespective of its size or complexity.

My courses are designed to be hands-on experiences, providing students with immersive learning opportunities throughout. Starting from the basics, we delve into a diverse range of topics over our intensive 40-hour sessions. Given the multifaceted nature of modern automated manufacturing and their innumerable applications, there’s always something new to explore and learn. The focus of our training is on reliability and troubleshooting, with students actively engaged in crafting simple PLC programs and wiring circuits to reinforce their understanding. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate exceptional troubleshooters who set the bar for operational reliability at a global level.

PLC Basics and Troubleshooting Level I & II (Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley Control Logix)

  • Class size is limited to 6 participants
  • Each student has their own laptop, PLC, & input/output simulator
  • Everyone must wire their own PLC
  • Typical class is 40 hours
  • Upon request we will go though your programs and create exercises to help technicians understand instructions/programming methods not typically covered

Variable Frequency Drives (Allen Bradley Powerflex and Siemens Sinamics)

  • Class size is limited to 6 participants
  • Each student has their own laptop, PLC, Drive, and 3ph Motor
  • PLC Basics and Troubleshooting is generally considered a prerequisite
  • This class involves a significant amount of wiring and troubleshooting with a multi-meter
  • Class length ranges from 16-32hrs based on complexity of clients applications

Industrial Pneumatics and Introduction to Automation

  • Class size is limited to 10 participants
  • Each student has their own laptop for simulation software, and will share a pneumatic trainer station with a partner
  • Fast paced and challenging course designed for all skill levels, operator to engineer
  • This is a 40hr class

Pneumatics and Automation Training

I hired Jeremy to deliver a refresher course in pneumatics and automation for one of our clients. Me being only the middle person, had only an elementary knowledge of what it meant or entailed. Watching Jeremy lug in box after box of “trainers” gave me the idea that this wasn’t going to be just a stand-up and lecture type of training. After the session, all the course attendees gave him glowing reviews! They truly enjoyed his hands-on approach, his knowledge, and expertise. They were able to share their experiences in class and test their understanding of concepts in a safe and controlled environment. Hands down would recommend Jeremy!
